Baking soda is also popular by the name of sodium bicarbonate. For acne treatment, it is able to exfoliate the skin. The treatment itself is relatively simple and straightforward.

5. Tea tree oil

It is important to keep in mind that the tea tree oil needs to be diluted. As one of the best home remedies for acne, undiluted version of tea tree oil will bring more harm than good. Application of tea tree oil without being diluted first will lead to dry skin. Some people might also experience redness and irritation due to this wrong treatment.
