Our Mission
To empower and inspire other burn survivors to get past the tragedy
in their lives and become the best people they can be. We will be
providing reinforcement, hope, education, rehabilitation, treatment,
and financial resources and support to survivors and their families.
About Us
The Three for Hope Foundation was created by sisters
Chandra, Jordan and Trae Berns. When the girls were 17-months-old,
their house was set on fire. In the fire that claimed the life of
their mother, the girls were left with third-degree burns on their
face, chest, and arms. The triplets, now 22-years-old, are using
their past and turning it into something positive. They are
advocates of a new laser procedure that helps to treat the
appearance of burn scars. Treatments can be costly, therefore one of
the goals of Three for Hope is to raise money to fund the
cost for other burn survivors. The foundation is also planning to
offer support and resources for burn survivors and their families.
In the future, the sisters hope to partner with other foundations to
help provide household items for families whose houses have caught
fire, in order to help them start rebuilding their lives.
